Our company has highly-trained technicians who are able to overhaul and repair any pumps and rotating equipment in your vessel. We really mean any rotating equipment: pumps, cranes and winches, be it American made or abroad. These repairs can be made in our facilities or on-site.
Our staff is able to repair any kind of pump: the equipment, cargo, ballast and prime mover pumps. The team can repair commercial pumps as well. Other repairs are included in our pump services, such as the rudder, the mechanical seals, and any part that has been worn down. Our technicians can service any barge, tug and industrial, commercial and merchant vessel.
The Galpa Construction team can also repair anchor windlasses, tow winches, OFTG upsetters, air compressors and capstans. A complete overhaul of the device –its wearable parts and its hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and drive system– is part of the service. If you need bench tests to verify the correct operation of your equipment after the repair is done, we can do it for you upon your request.
Our staff can also service your rigging equipment: they can install, align or remove it if that is necessary.
