Yes! Galpa Construction LLC encourages a collaborative approach to your boats. It is not unusual for clients to provide a hands-on approach to all the work performed although we have highly trained skilled craftsmen equipped to take on any marine repair and restoration job.
We has rules and regulations as it relates to contractors wanting to work on their own boats in the yard. Galpa Construction LLC follows these strict rules to the letter and as a customer of Galpa Construction LLC you will be able to benefit from the investment Commodore’s Boats has made in order that our customers are also in alignment with the Marina’s rules and guidelines.
No, in most cases our rate is the same across the board. The exception is Heavy Duty Mechanical work that has a slightly differing rate than all of our other labour rates. All rates and pricing is discussed in advance of doing any work.
Our shop rate for all trades is $70 per hour for all trades except heavy duty mechanical work

Yes. Galpa Construction LLC has a fully operational mechanical shop on site with the ability to perform engine rebuilds and removals.
It depends on the length of boat and length of stay while being repaired. We will provide a best estimate as far as time expected in the yard in order to take advantage of any extended stay discounted rates.
Yes, if required we bring in a sandblasting crew.
Yes, each boat is unique so the level of finish will need to be discussed and agreed upon. Galpa Construction LLC paint specialists will provide to each unique situation a free consultation and analysis on what is best for your particular situation and boat.
This is our job and we will make all the arrangements necessary to ensure a stress free safe haul out of your boat. Once the scope of the work is agreed upon we will arrange and schedule all lifts to work with your schedule.
an I supply my own materials for the job?
Yes in most cases customers can supply their own materials for the boat repair or restoration, however we have done years of work creating wholesaler relationships with the top suppliers to the marine trades industry.
