FAQ

The cost to fix your boat will be determined by the following factors:

  • How old is your boat?
  • How much use does your boat have?
  • The specific parts of your boat that need to be replaced or repaired, and the difficulty our professionals will have to do it. Evidently, it is easier to replace a glass than repair the engine of your boat.
  • What kind of boat do you have?
  • What is your budget?

We do not recommend you to work on your own boat at the yard. In order to have a boat you can rely on, it must be repaired by a team of professionals with the right tools and expertise to do it. In a different case, you might put your boat, yourself and your passengers in danger.

Our company has the staff and the tools to put your boat again in the water. Give us a call, or leave us a message with your personal number or email, and let us know which part of your boat do you want us to work on. We will contact you to inform you of the budget and the appointment to start our work.

Yes, our hourly rate varies by trade. The reason for this variation depends on the work you require us to do. If a customer needs an electrician to work on a vessel, the rate we will charge will be different if that same customer later needs a mechanic. Those are different jobs; they are performed by specialists and the time of each trade has a different value.

However, you do not have to worry about it. Give us a call or write us an email and we will make an assessment of what needs to be done. We will tell you upfront how much the job will cost you. When you receive the invoice, it will contain no surprises.

Yes, we can repair your vessel engine. Our staff has very competent and long-experienced mechanics , who will be able to repair your engine, be it made in America or abroad.

The cost for lay days or storage days while your boat is being repaired will depend on the size of your boat and the number of days it will stay in our facilities. We include this fee in the cost estimation we send you. We will do our best to repair your vessel as fast as possible.

Yes, we offer you the most comprehensive and efficient sandblasting service to clean the entire surface of your boat. We count with all the equipment and a highly-trained staff who can perform this job efficiently and on schedule.

Yes, we do. Once we sandblast the topside to remove the rust and the old painting, we paint the boat with the right painting to protect your vessel against corrosion.

In our cost estimation, we usually include the cost of the paint. If you want to use your own paint, please warn us in advance to give you a precise estimate. We also need to know how many colors you want and how they should be applied.

Please, if you do not provide a paint that is right to protect your boat, we will not take any responsibility for the quality of the job.

Whenever you need to haul out your vessel, give us a call to approach you. If you pass our advice and decide to arrange to haul out your vessel by yourself without having the adequate transportation and knowledge of how to install your vessel properly to prevent any accidents, you will put yourself in danger more than just your vessel. Trust us to do this job, and you will not regret it.

Yes, you can supply your own materials for the job. However, we must evaluate your boat to know the specific arrangements it requires and the materials we will need to leave it in perfect conditions. As a result, our cost estimation will be lower, but we will not take any responsibility if the quality of the materials you supply is not good enough.
