Galpa Construction gas freeing and cleaning operation is the most comprehensive one you can find on the gulf coast. Our facilities can handle up to ten barges for this service at the same time. Our cleaning docks have a wide array of utilities and resources to clean and gas-free your vessel. Also, our cleaning methods help us to recycle half of the water used in the process.
Additionally, our gas freeing personnel is trained to fulfill your expectations and our core values: and our shift supervisors were defined by the United States Coast Guard as “competent persons”. That means, they have the know-how to deal with many different substances, such as heavy oil and chlorinated solvents, among other possibilities.
