Our capacity to accomplish our new construction projects goals is perfectly well supported by our shipyards –they are located in the Texas coast and have very efficient fabrication shops. 

In our facilities we can build tank barges, with a capacity ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 bbl. Then, in our shop the double hull in these barges is sandblasted and then painted to protect it from rust and corrosion.

Inside our shipbuilding shop, we have a 200 ft. x 80 ft. slipway. This resource allows our workers to load and unload modules, and to launch the vessel once it is finished. 

In this type of facility our staff builds different types of vessels –deck, pressure tank, inland and offshore barges–. There, we have the right equipment  to build modules up to 500 tons with 2 cranes of 250 tons, each one with a hook height of 50 ft. 

Galpa Construction has many inland push barges under contract, and in different stages of construction, These vessels engines can produce power ranging from 1800 to 2400 HP and have a length up to 84 ft..
