Our company offers you our service of surface preparation and painting. With this service we can remove the old coat of paint, apply a new coat of paint to protect your vessel from corrosion.

The surface preparation is key in this process: The new coat of paint will provide a long lasting protection against corrosion only if the surface of your vessel was prepared correctly.

First, our staff removes the old coat on the surfaces of your vessel applying a high-pressure jet of water. The procedure is applied to the deck and if there are places where the old coat resists, it is sandblasted –that is, the jet of water is also applied with an abrasive agent–.

To prepare the topside and the hull, the same procedure is applied. However, frequently these parts are sandblasted to remove rust, algae, barnacles and the old coat of paint. 

Once the surface of the vessel has been cleaned in this way, it is ready to be painted. Without a doubt, the paint has to be of a very high quality to protect your vessel against corrosion. Evidently, we need you to tell us how the vessel should be painted.
